Welcome to the Marine Rescue Coffs Harbour
Our team of men and women volunteers operate from our Watch Tower at Beacon Hill Lookout.
Marine Rescue Coffs Harbour volunteer boat crews are rostered 24/7 for Search and Rescue Services around the Unit’s responsibility – Coffs Harbour, Woolgoolga, Wooli, Nambucca Heads, Trial Bay and their local tributaries – 7-days-a week from 0500 to 1800 hours in Summer and 0530 to 1700 in Winter. Radio calls after hours are answered by Marine Rescue Port Macquarie, as this base operates 24/7 and has extended reception at night.

Become a volunteer. Our volunteers come from all walks of life to keep our community safe on the water. Full training is provided at no cost and no prior boating experience is required.
