Welcome to the Marine Rescue Coffs Harbour
Marine Rescue Coffs Harbour is a volunteer-operated unit dedicated to protecting boaters and keeping our waterways safe. From monitoring radio calls and conducting and coordinating rescues, to training our crews and maintaining our vessels, everything we do is focused on keeping people safe on the water. Spending time on the water is part of the Australian way of life and we’re proud to serve the Coffs Coast and its active boating community. Whether you’re heading offshore to fish, taking your kids out for the day or visiting our harbour for a weekend on the water – our volunteers are here to help you enjoy it safely and be there if things go wrong.
How you can help
Become a volunteer. Our volunteers come from all walks of life to keep our community safe on the water. Full training is provided at no cost and no prior boating experience is required.
Contribute financially. It’s the support of our community that makes our work possible. Every contribution helps us stay ready to respond when help is needed.
